U.S. Senate Nominee Darryl Glenn Wins Senate Debate on the Issues

Date: Oct. 11, 2016
Location: Colorado Springs, CO

In the only televised debate of the Colorado U.S. Senate race, Darryl Glenn was the clear winner on the issues that matter to Coloradans.

Speaking after the debate, Glenn said: "We heard more of the same from Michael Bennet tonight: he doubled down on his support of both the Iran Nuclear Deal and Obamacare. Michael Bennet said tonight he doesn't trust Iran and never did, and yet he still stood by his vote-- saying that Israel is more secure with this deal. Nothing could be further from the truth: this deal jeopardizes the safety and security of our friend Israel.

"On Obamacare, he said he's sorry when anyone's health costs go up, but once again, he stood by his vote. What Michael Bennet doesn't understand, is that his votes have devastating consequences for Colorado's families-- whether on Iran or Obamacare.

"And when things got tough for Michael Bennet, he calls on the moderators for help. It makes me wonder who he calls when he needs to make tough decisions on votes that affect Coloradans."
